Padget Electronics Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dixon Technologies intends to enter into an MOU with HP India Sales Private Limited to carry out manufacturing of notebooks, desktops, and All-in-one PCs under PLI 2.0, subject to signing of definitive agreements in due course.
The new facility being established in Oragadam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, under Government of India’s IT Hardware PLI 2.0 Scheme, will be a state-of-the-art plant dedicated to manufacturing Laptops, Desktops, and all-in-one devices. Spanning across 300,000 square feet, the plant is projected to create 1,500 direct jobs. At peak capacity, it will be capable of producing 2 million units annually.
